Contrail Models was founded by a career aviator — mechanic, Flight Engineer, long-haul cargo Captain, and airline pilot with 40 years in the sky. We saw what the industry offered as tributes to the people who dedicate their lives to aviation. It wasn't enough.

The Contrail Models Signature Series operates on an annual release calendar — one aircraft, one partner, one numbered edition per track, per year. No catalog. No inventory. No retail. Each release is an event.
A decade into the program, fewer than twenty partners worldwide will have ever been part of the Signature Series. That scarcity is not a marketing lever. It is structural. It is what makes a Contrail Models piece worth owning.
Airlines and manufacturers seeking consideration for future release years are welcome to reach out directly. There is no formal application process.
- 01One aircraft per track, per year. One Airline partner. One Manufacturer partner. The program cannot be flooded by design.
- 02Founding Partner status is granted once and never granted again — held only by the inaugural partners.
- 03Existing partners hold first right of renewal each year. When they renew, no new partner enters that track.
- 04Every piece is produced to order, delivered in up to 12 weeks, and signed by Captain Brian Nastovski. No piece ships without his signature.
- 05Once an edition year closes, no additional pieces from that year are produced — ever.
